Aileen L. Cozart

Aileen L. Cozart, 89, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026 at Aldersgate Village in Topeka. She was born April 6, 1937 in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Charles Emil and Florence Vivian (Hampshire) Alliett.

Aileen graduated from Raytown High School in Kansas City, Missouri. She was a cosmetologist for over 30 years prior to retiring.

Aileen married Herbert J. Cozart on May 31, 1962 in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on June 19, 2002. She was also preceded in death by one son, Jimbo Cozart.

Survivors include one daughter, Judy Ann (Jim) Pape of Kansas City, Missouri, her siblings, Ruby Leighton, Dee Peter, and several nieces and nephews.

A private Celebration of Aileen's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation4550 Montgomery Ave, Suite 1100 N Bethesda, Maryland 20814.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
