Alvin D. Munsell

Alvin D. Munsell, 40, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, July 29, 2024. He was born February 19, 1984 in Topeka, the son of Marcelino Emelio Ramirez, Sr. and LouDean Munsell.

Alvin was employed by Home Depot as a Forklift Operator.

Survivors include six children, Marc A. Ramirez of Tucson, Arizona, Angelina Ramirez Tucson, Arizona, Samaria Ramirez of Topeka, Alvina Ramirez of Topeka, Remi Ramirez of Topeka and Joalvinalyz Ramirez of Topeka, his parents, Marcelino Emilio (Toni) Ramirez Sr. of Rosharon, Texas, LouDean Munsell of Topeka, his brother, Marcelino (Ashley Wilson) Ramirez of Topeka, his Godmother, Christine Yost of Topeka and several uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces and extended family.

Alvin was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Gonzalo Ramirez, his brother, Nicholas Ortiz, maternal grandfather, Carl Dean Munsell, maternal grandmother, LouAnne Lowe, and his uncle, Kevin Dean Munsell.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Wednesday, August 7, 2024 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends prior to the service from Noon - 2:00 p.m. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
