Anthony Aguilar, 40, of Los Angeles, California, formerly of Topeka, Kansas, passed away Saturday, April 12, 2025 in Los Angeles, CA as the result of an accident.

He was born April 25, 1984, in El Paso, Texas, the son of Juan Santos Aguilar and Gloria Margaret (Falcon) Madrid. He was a graduate of Washburn Rural High School. He served in the United States Marines for 6 years until being honorably discharged May 14th 2009.

Anthony was the Co-Founder and Head Executive Producer/Director of Ova Media Group, where videography was just one of his many talents. He helped build the company from the ground up and led its creative direction.

He attended the Anglican Church in Los Angeles, CA and volunteered for various community organizations including the Veterans PTSD support group.

Survivors include his children, Avrik Aguilar and Azaya Aguilar both of Ft. Worth, TX; his parents, Juan Aguilar and Gloria Madrid of Topeka; his brothers, Alex Aguilar of Kansas City, KS Corey Aguilar of Las Vegas, NV and three nephews, Erik, Gabriel and Julian Aguilar and Adrian Aguilar.

Anthony enjoyed playing guitar, hanging with his kids, always had a talent for music which he loved every genre.

Cremation is planned. A celebration of his life is pending. Please check back for more information.
