Arthur D. Garland

Arthur D. Garland, 65, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, October 22, 2025 at a Topeka hospital. He was born April 18, 1960 in Topeka, the son of Burnett W. "Barney" and Arthurine (Newman) Garland Sr.

Arthur attended Topeka Public Schools. He worked with his father in his family business, Garland Janitorial Services.

Arthur married Dana J. Babcock on July 1, 2011 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children,

Arthur married Dana J. Babcock on July 1, 2011 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Chareess, Deaun, Tracie, Alisha, Chase, several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, and his siblings, Tami Ezell, Melba Garland, Robert Preyer, and a host of extended family and friends.

Arthur was preceded in death by his brother, Burnett "Pedy" Garland, Jr.

A private Celebration of Arthur's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
