Bonnie Sporer, life long resident of Cloud County, passed away on April 10, 2026. She had a very active life in her 98 years.

She married Leonard Brunell and from that union their son Craig was born. She later married Gerald Sporer. Both husbands preceded her in death.

Bonnie was very active in her community serving on many boards, organizations, and committees. She was active on the CCCJC board, County soil conservation, school district boards, and many others. She was a charter member of the ladies of the Moose, VFW, Rebecca's, and Daughters of the American Revolution, a member of the Clyde Catholic Church, and more. She was a beautician, a Federal Crop insurance adjuster, FCIC sales officer, and farm and ranch operator. She really loved her cows. She had two loyal dogs, George and Sadie, that she loved.

Bonnie loved to talk and never met a stranger. She is survived by her only son Craig B. Brunell of Topeka, KS. A celebration of her life will be announced at a later date. Bonnie will be missed by all.
