Brock Joseph Ware

Brock J. Ware, 45, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, April 28, 2022. He was born December 8, 1976, in Kansas City, Kansas, the son of Kenneth Ware and Cheri (Jones) Allen.
He graduated from Shawnee Heights High School in 1995. Brock later went on to attend Washburn Tech where he received an Associate Degree in Auto Mechanics.
Brock joined the United States Marine Corps and served for almost four years. He returned to Topeka, KS and worked for the State of Kansas. After spending some time with the State he left and went to work for Andy's Refrigeration as an HVAC Technician. His last job prior to his passing was with Plug Power where he worked as a contract laborer.
Brock was a member of the American Legion Post #1 and the Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Brock married Shannon Sawyer they later divorced. She survives. Other survivors include his parents, Mark and Cheri Allen of Topeka; his children, Morissa Ware of Holton and Lakin Ware of Topeka; his siblings, Amy Bartholomew and Renee Smith both of Topeka and Tiffanie Spencer-Ware of Wichita, KS; his step-grandmother, Ivajean Allen of Silver Lake; his numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews and a special family member, Tootsie of Topeka.
He was preceded in death by his father, Kenneth Ware and his maternal and paternal grandparents.
Brock enjoyed fishing, hunting, camping and swimming, fixing things and helping others. He mostly enjoyed spending time with family and friends.
Honoring Brock's request cremation is planned. A Celebration of Brock's Life will be held Tuesday, May 17, 2022 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Dove Cremations and Funerals Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Avenue, Topeka, KS 66605. A private family inurnment will follow at Topeka Cemetery.
