Carolyn A. "Carol" Rogers

Carolyn A. "Carol" Rogers, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, July 1, 2026. She was born February 22, 1946 in Emporia, Kansas, the daughter of Merle and JoAnn (Bell) DeLong.

Carol was employed by the Kansas Neurological Institute. She was a member of the Rebecca Lodge. She enjoyed playing Bingo, bowling and spending time with her grandchildren. Family was very important to her and all thought she was an amazing cook.

Carol married Roy K. Rogers. He survives. Also surviving are children, Jeff Rogers of Topeka, Roy (Zhao Dan) Rogers Jr. of Topeka, Joanna (Clayton) Johnson of Topeka, eleven grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Alice (Tom) Sprague, Chuck (Kathy) DeLong, Larry (Susan) DeLong and her Brother-In-Law, Robert Fulghum.

Carol was preceded in death by her sister, Patricia Fulghum.

A private Celebration of Carol's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
