Charles H. Bartley, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Friday, August 3, 2012 at Stormont-Vail Hospital. He was born on December 21, 1936 in Atchison, Kansas to Ralph Herbert, Sr. and Julia Paulene (Miller) Bartley. Charles owned and operated Bartley TV in Leavenworth, KS for over 25 years.
Charles is survived by his siblings, Frances (Richard) Roberts, Barbara (Robert) Schaeffer all of Topeka and Bill "Joe" (Faye) Bartley of Normal, IL; 10 nieces and nephews and 16 great nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by one brother, Ralph E. Bartley, Jr.
A memorial mass will be held at 10 am on Wednesday, August 8 at Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church. Inurnment will follow in the Mount Calvary Cemetery. A rosary will be prayed at 6 pm on Tuesday, followed by a visitation from 7 pm – 8 pm all at Dove Cremation and Funeral Service.
Memorial contributions may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
