Christine H. Jackson, 93, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, June 10, 2026. She was born February 23, 1933, in Como, Mississippi, the daughter of William and Everlena (Callicutt) Hardin.
Christine owned and operated Jackson Upholstering Company for over 30 years before retiring. She was a member of the Central Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses.
Christine married Wesley L. Jackson on May 11, 1957 in Ohio. He preceded her in death on June 12, 2014. She was also preceded in death by her nine siblings, Benny, Joada, Martha, Eddiemae, Jessie, Mattie, William “Bill”, Rosevelt “Ted”, and Ethel.
Survivors include two children, Jesse (Jennifer) Hardin of Youngstown, Ohio, Patricia (Wayne, Jr.) Wright of Topeka; three grandchildren, Jesse, Jr., L’Tonia (Ben) and DeVaughn; eleven great-grandchildren; twenty-three great-great grandchildren; her brother, Ralph Hardin, and many nieces, nephews and extended family.
A Celebration of Christine’s Life will be held at 2:30 p.m. Saturday, June 20, 2026 at the Central Congregation of the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 2701 SE Croco Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66605. Private inurnment will take place in Leavenworth National Cemetery at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
