Christine E. Pifer, 59, of Topeka, passed away Saturday, November 1, 2025.
She was born December 6, 1965, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Richard and Nancy (Balfour) Pifer and was their eldest child.
Growing up, Christine could often be found playing her KISS records at full volume and sharing her favorite songs with friends. Music was a constant in her life, a source of joy and comfort that followed her wherever she went.
After graduating from Topeka West High School in 1984, she remained close to home, living near her parents in Topeka. She loved spending time with her family and was always the first one waiting to greet her nieces and nephews with open arms.
Christine had an affinity for animals and a genuine kindness that extended to everyone she met. She was accepting of everyone and had a generous, giving heart. Always ready with a sarcastic comment or a playful joke, she had a great sense of humor and a sharp wit that made everyone laugh. Her joyous laugh could fill a room and will be dearly missed by all who knew her.
Christine is survived by her parents, Richard and Nancy; sister, Melinda (Kenny) Keil; brother, Duane (Amy) Pifer; 2 nieces and 2 nephews.
Christine’s wishes were for cremation. Private inurnment will take place in Green, Kansas with immediate family.
