Daisy B. Wells

Daisy B. Wells, 95, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, May 26, 2026. She was born October 11, 1930 in Shawnee, Oklahoma, the daughter of Robert and Nora (Boggs) Spriggs.

Daisy graduated from High School in Caney, Oklahoma. She attended Amarillo College. Daisy was a Registered Nurse.

Daisy married Howard Waits. He preceded her in death in 1968. She later married Robert C. Wells. He survives. Other survivors include children, Vicki Morgan of Topeka, Michael "R. "Mike" (Carol) Waits of Hoschton, Georgia, Richard (Susan) Wells of Pearland, Texas, Donita McPherson of Fulton, Texas, eight grandchildren, ten great-grandchildren, and five great-great-grandchildren.

A private Celebration of Daisy's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Gentiva Hospice, 5375 SW 7th St., Ste. 500, Topeka, Kansas 66606.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
