Darlene E. McCall

Darlene E. McCall, 85, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, December 30, 2025 at a Topeka care facility. She was born June 18, 1940 in Atchison, Kansas, the daughter of Charles and Martha (Osmon) Moore.

Darlene graduated from Meriden High School. She was employed as an Accountant for the State of Kansas for over 40 years before retiring in 2002. She was a member of the Highland Park United Methodist Church.

Darlene married Marlin D. McCall on February 2, 1957 in Jefferson County, Kansas. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2021. She was preceded in death by her oldest son Marlin Dean McCall Jr. on July 17, 2007 and her four siblings.

Survivors include her children, Kerry Wayne (Joann) McCall of Duluth, Minnesota, Kim Irene (Steve) Brink of Tecumseh, five grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Saturday, January 3, 2026 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Burial will follow in Meriden Cemetery.
