David J. Anstaett

David J. Anstaett, 61, of Tecumseh, passed away on Tuesday, October 6, 2026. He was born April 21, 1965 in Topeka, the son of Hugh W. and Carolyn L. (Lange) Anstaett.

David graduated from Shawnee Heights High School and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Business from Baker University. He was employed by DaVita Kidney Care in Topeka.

David married Kathy R. Feldkamp on October 1, 1988 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include two daughters, Mariah (Zack) Jones, Rachel Anstaett, one granddaughter, Ellie, his father, Hugh W. Anstaett, his sisters, Kathy (Kevin) Stark, Lori (Patric) Mitchell, and several nieces and nephews.

He loved many things in life: fishing, golfing, spending time with his two daughters, and, of course, the Kansas City Chiefs. He could spend hours enjoying a day on the golf course or relaxing with a fishing pole in hand, but nothing quite compared to a Chiefs game. He cheered loudly, celebrated every big play, and was never shy about letting the television know when he disagreed with a call. Those who knew and loved him will remember not only his laughter and love for his family, but also those familiar Chiefs game-day outbursts that were simply part of who he was.

A Celebration of David's Life will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, October 16, 2026 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the WildTrust, Kansas Department of Wildlife and Parks, 512 SE 25th Ave., Pratt, Kansas 67124-8174.
