Dean A. Grienke, 86, of Tecumseh, passed away on Friday, May 2, 2025. He was born February 2, 1939 in Eskridge, the son of Gustavie and Eaureva (Beautifish) Grienke.

Dean owned and operated Dean Grienke Trucking. He was a member of Teamsters Union Local #696.

Dean married Virginia Creek. She preceded him in death in 2004. He was also preceded in death by three children, Dan Grienke, Luwana High, Doug Creek and his brother, Bob Grienke.

Survivors include children, Cindy (Mike) Vannordstrand of Tecumseh, Junior Grienke of Berryton, Dottie Mauer of Carbondale, Becky Hemphill of Carbondale, Verle (Corkey) Creek of Hoyt, Teresa Landrum of Wichita, Wendy Scott of Topeka, five grandchildren, Shelbie Dubois, Michael Hemphill, Jr., Brandy Scroggins, Joe Mack and Misty Mack and five great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Friday, May 9, 2025 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. Burial will follow at 1:00 p.m. in Bethlehem Cemetery, Paxico, Kansas. Dean will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. Thursday, May 8, 2025 at the funeral home.
