Delores A. Lawhorn, 80, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, June 12, 2012.
She was born July 5, 1931 in Manhattan, KS, the daughter of Charlie and Willa Mae Talbott Hawkins. Delores was a life-long resident of Topeka.
Survivors include her three children, Sharon White, Steven Knight, Bernice Knight, six grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and one sister, Henrietta Elliott.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Burial will follow in Topeka Cemetery. Delores will lie in state and the family will receive friends from 4:00-6:00 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.
