Denise Eleen Baudoux

Denise Eleen Baudoux, 71, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away Sunday, April 6, 2025.

She was born March 8, 1955, in Chester, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Shirley Gallagher. She graduated Sun Valley High School in Aston, Pennsylvania.

Denise owned and operated Nieces Daycare in Topeka for over thirty years.

Denise married Joseph Allen Baudoux in 1972. He preceded her in death on May 20, 2012.

Survivors include daughter, Denise Eleen (James) Vestal, Park City, Kansas; son Kevin A Baudoux, Paola, Kansas; nephew Joey Volpe, Park City, Kansas; grandchildren Julian Baudoux, Jacob Cook, James Vestal; brother Bill Gallagher; and brothers-in-law Richard Baudoux, Gary (Glenda) Baudoux and Kenneth Baudoux.

She was preceded in death by her mother Shirley Gallagher, mother-in-law Clara Baudoux, father-in-law Joseph Augustus Baudoux, and sister Betty Ann Volpe.

Denise loved shopping, watching Law & Order SVU and listening to country music. She also loved spending time with her grandchildren.

Per Denise's wishes, cremation is planned. Memorial contributions can be made to Prairie Paws Animal Shelter, 3173 K-68 Highway, Ottawa, Kansas, 66067.
