Donald Lee "Don" Hall, 88, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, July 2, 2022. He was born June 30, 1934 in Topeka, the son of Clifford H. and Florence (Feldner) Hall.
Don graduated from Highland Park High School. He was a Navy Veteran during the Korean War, serving from 1954 - 1956 and enlisted in the Army Reserve where he served until 1961. Don had many roles and titles during his rich life. Though, he cherished being a husband, father, Poppy (grandfather), and Great-Poppy (great grandfather).
He was employed as an Insurance Agent with Prudential.
Don married Margie Darlene Dial on April 7, 1957 in Holton, Kansas. Darlene and other survivors include; sons, Todd (Kimberle) Hall of Eagle, Nebraska and Tim Hall of Topeka; grandchildren, Chad Hall (Tree Branch) of Chicago, Illinois, Dylan Hall of Austin, Texas, Grant Hall of Omaha, Nebraska and Ian Hall (Samantha Mesa) of Topeka, Kansas, great-grandson, Cash Hall; and nieces, Linda Linder (Doug) and Lana Meyers (James), and great-nieces and nephews.
Don was preceded in death by his parents and two siblings, John and Leona.
Private graveside inurnment will take place in Mount Hope Cemetery. The family will receive friends during a reception taking place from 1:30 pm – 3:30 pm on Monday, July 25, 2022 at the Mount Hope Cemetery, Funeral Chapel & Reception Center, 4700 SW 17th St., Topeka, KS 66604.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions in the name of Donald L. Hall may be given to Arbor Court Retirement of Topeka, 4200 SW Drury Lane, Topeka, KS 66604.
