Donna Rae Bramlage, 90, of Topeka, passed away peacefully at home Thursday, April 16, 2026.
She was born March 27, 1936, in Home, Kansas, the daughter of Raymond and Alta (Gumm) Harry.
Donna graduated high school, and went on to work for the Sante Fe Railroad until she married and started a family. She married Francis Leo Bramlage on April 26, 1958, in Frankfort, Kansas. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2023.
She drove a school bus for 10 years, and also worked at K-Mart for quite some time.
Donna was a member of Christ the King Catholic Church. She was also a member of Crooked Post Ladies Club.
Survivors include sons Randy (Cindi) Bramlage, Wakarusa, KS; Greg (Connie) Bramlage, Topeka, KS; Jeff Bramlage, Topeka, KS; daughter Debbie Bramlage, Auburn, KS; granddaughter Chelsey (Randal) Schiffelbein, Berryton, KS; step grandchildren Shaun (Ashley) McDonnell; Michael (Abby) McDonnell; great-grandchildren Nova and Hudson Schiffelbein; step great-grandchildren Ethan, Elliott, Everett, Soren; and sister Delores Wanklyn, Frankfort, KS.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her sister Darlene Wanklyn, and brother Gerald Harry.
Donna enjoyed watching her granddaughter and great grandchildren grow and play at her house. She also loved Tuesday morning breakfast and Thursday evening dinners with her friends. Donna also volunteered at the Auburn Community Library, as she was an avid reader. She also loved to go shopping.
Cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held on Wednesday, April 29, 2026, at 10:00 A.M., at Christ the King Catholic Church, 5973 SW 25th Street, Topeka, Kansas, 66614. Interment will take place following the ceremony at Auburn Cemetery, with a reception following the graveside committal at Christ the King Catholic Church.
