The family of Elizabeth Ann Watts Brown is heartbroken to announce her passing on October 30, 2026 after a long battle with cancer. She was born at home in Kansas City, MO, on December 30, 1938. She is preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. W.E. Watts, and her brothers, W. Jack Watts and James "Buzzy" Watts.

Elizabeth is survived by her beloved husband of 52 years, Herb L. Brown, and her three awesome sons: Bart A. Huscher (Wendy) of Springfield, MO; Brien L. Huscher (Lisa) of Laguna Niguel, CA; and Beau W. Huscher of Topeka, KS. Her legacy continues through her seven grandchildren—Anthony, Austin, Alex, Gracie, Reagan, Reese, and Vincent—and three great-grandchildren.

Affectionately known as "Liz," she was an alumna of Topeka High School and received a full scholarship to Emporia State University. Her career spanned 32 years as a Television Traffic Manager at Topeka TV stations, where she also delighted audiences with a children's show alongside Gordon Jump and engaged in on-air modeling.

Liz treasured her time living in the Sherwood Community and later in Austin, TX, where she and Herb spent 30 joyful years. Together, they embraced their passions for country dancing and tennis. Liz was a spirited member of the "Tap Dancing Grandmas," captivating many with their performances and earning a First Place Award at a National Talent Competition in Las Vegas. Liz and Herb relocated back to Kansas to be near family, where they were able to stay busy attending their grandchildren’s sporting events.

In her own words, Liz expressed deep gratitude to her family and friends for their love and support, saying, "Life was a Blast!" She leaves us with a hopeful farewell: "See you there."
