Elizabeth E. "Betty" Compton, 75, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, August 9, 2009. She was born on October 15, 1933 in Topeka, the daughter of Jacob and Irene Ludwig. Survivors include four sons, Bob, Don, Greg and Mike, one daughter, Cindy, eleven grandchildren and five great-grandchildren. Cremation has taken place. Memorial services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.
