Fredric F. "Fritz" Kroh, 74, of Topeka, passed away on Saturday, February 21, 2026. He was born November 30, 1951 in Hiawatha, Kansas, the son of Charles I. and Marguerite G. (Lahaye) Kroh.

Fritz graduated from Hiawatha High School and attended Highland Community College, Emporia State University and earned a Bachelor's Degree in Criminal Justice from Washburn University. He served as a Police Officer in Silver Lake, St. Mary's, Topeka Public Schools, and the Shawnee County Parks & Recreation Department before retiring in 2005. He was a member of Highland Heights Christian Church and the Capital City Gun Club, where he was a founding member of the Capital City Cowboys.

Fritz married Elaine Starry on May 22, 1976 in Louisburg, Kansas. She survives. Also surviving is their daughter, Shannon Kroh of Topeka.

A Celebration of Fritz's Life will be announced as soon as possible at the Highland Heights Christian Church. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Highland Heights Christian Church, 2930 SE Tecumseh Rd., Tecumseh, Kansas 66542.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
