George Edward Stubbs

George "Joe" E. Stubbs, 73, of Topeka, Kansas passed away on Saturday, November 22, 2025.

He was born on January 16, 1952 in Lewis, Delaware to Paul and Mildred (Carlice) Stubbs. Joe was a proud Army Veteran who served during the Vietnam War. 

Joe married his wife, Barbara, on November 7, 1990 in Omaha, Nebraska. She preceded him in passing on November 15, 2023.

He is survived by his son, Tommy Stubbs of Topeka; step-son, Michael (Melissa) Bennett of Topeka; grandchildren, Jason, Naomi, Ricky Stubbs, Rylee Wentworth, Jerron Merritt, and one great grandchild, Lukus. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Honoring his wishes, cremation is planned and private services will be held.
