Gerald C. "Jerry" Custer, Jr.

Gerald C. "Jerry" Custer, Jr., 65, of Topeka, passed away on Monday, January 5, 2026 at a Topeka hospital. He was born July 4, 1960 in Bad Kreuznach, Germany, the son of Gerald C. and Carol (Sheesley) Custer, Sr.

Jerry attended Northwest High School in Clarksville, Tennessee and had resided in Topeka since the late 1980's.

Survivors include his siblings, Jackie Custer of Waterboro, Maine, Phyllis (Lawrence) Osgood of Cedar Point, Kansas, Cherie (Randy) Schmittou of Cunningham, Tennessee, five nieces and nephews and one great-nephew.

A private Celebration of Jerry's Life will be held at a later date. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
