Harold "Wayne" Bradley, 77, of Topeka, passed away on Sunday, June 29, 2025 at Midland Hospice House in Topeka. He was born December 27, 1947 in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, the son of Harold and Marjorie (Caldwell) Bradley.
Wayne graduated from Washington Senior High School in Sioux Falls in 1965. He was an Army Veteran, serving during the Vietnam War. Wayne had resided in Topeka since 1972. He was employed as a Machine Builder for Hydra Tool for 12 years and later as a Maintenance Supervisor at Woodland Care Center for 23 years before retiring. He was a member of Christ Lutheran Church.
Wayne married Linda K. Hanschu on June 28, 1969 in Ramona, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include two children, Scott (Katy) Bradley of Topeka, Wendy Bradley of Topeka, three grandsons, Scottie, Damion and Dakota, two great-grandsons, Chrystian and Logann, his siblings, Judy Clay of Stockton, California and David (Roxie) Bradley of Otsego, Minnesota and a very close brother-in-law, Richard Rose.
Wayne was preceded in death by his great-granddaughter, Abbi and his sister, Gloria Rose.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, July 5, 2025 at Christ Lutheran Church where the family will receive friends beginning at 9:30 a.m. Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Christ Lutheran Church, 3509 SW Burlingame Rd., Topeka, Kansas 66611 or to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606.
