Henry Y. Magaña, Jr.

Henry Y. Magaña Jr., 15, of Topeka, passed away Monday, May 26, 2025. He was born May 24, 2010, in Onaga, Kansas, the son of Henry and Claudia (Arteaga) Magaña. He was a freshman attending Topeka High School where he was a member of the wrestling team.

Henry is survived by his parents, Henry & Claudia Magaña, his siblings, Raul Magaña, Jacqueline Magaña and Natalie Magaña, his maternal grandparents, Rafael and Dora Arteaga, paternal grandparents, Cilas Magaña and Olivia Martinez, his three aunts, Candida Contreras, Rosa Arteaga and Thania Martinez and six uncles, Rafael Arteaga, Jr., Luis Arteaga, Juan Arteaga, Jose Arteaga, Wilber Martinez and Juan Contreras.

Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday, June 5, 2025 at Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. where the family will receive friends one hour prior to service time. Cremation will follow the service and private inurnment will take place at a later date.
