Jack C. Edwards

Jack C. Edwards, 82, of Council Grove, Kansas, passed away on Wednesday, December 31, 2025 at a Topeka hospital. He was born December 15, 1943 in Dwight, Kansas, the son of Willlis Sanford and Etta Grace (Baker) Edwards.

Jack attended Council Grove, Kansas schools. He owned and operated Edwards Construction Company.

Jack married Jeannie Campmire on November 13, 1964 in Council Grove, Kansas. She survives. Other survivors include one son, Stacy (Genna) Edwards of Council Grove, Kansas, three grandchildren, Stacia (Chase), Treyman and Bella, two great-grandchildren and his siblings, Janet K. Edwards, Joyce M. (Robert) Axsom, Jerry D. (Janet) Edwards, Julie Swisher and several nieces and nephews.

Jack was preceded in death by his daughter, Tracy L. Honas in 1993.

A Celebration of Jack's Life will be announced as soon as possible. Private inurnment will take place at a later date.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the KSU Cancer Center, 1 Chalmers Hall, Manhattan, Kansas 66506.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
