Jake Stockdale, 31, passed away on May 1 5, 2025. Born on December 16, 1993, in Austin, TX.
He attended Burnet ISD and graduated in 2012. Jake was known for his generous heart, infectious laugh, and the joy he brought to everyone around him. He was the ultimate jokester and loved making people laugh.
He is survived by his parents, Jim and Debi Stockdale; his sister, Amber Williford (Wesley); his aunts, Kasey Salmela, Donna Koliba (Randy), and Lisa Sosa; his niece and nephew, Ashli Brenek (Matthew) and Wesley Williford (Cayla). Jake also leaves behind many cousins, great-nephews and a great-niece who shared countless memories and experiences with him throughout their lives.
He is preceded in death by his beloved grandparents, Florence Raney, and Merle and Madlyn Hays.
Jake worked as an HVAC technician in the family's business, where he took great pride in his skills and helping others.
He lived life with curiosity and enthusiasm. Whether it was video game competitions, exploring all things space, or taking sunset photos. Jake was always eager to learn and share his passions.
Jake was quite the adventurer and loved sharing his stories. He enjoyed many trips with family. He went on a 10-day horseback packing trip to the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, swam with Beluga whales at Sea WorId and stingrays in Jamaica. He was always the brave one. Even as a young teenager, before any grown adult even thought about it, he was already soaring off a 100-foot cliff into the ocean below. That was just who he was— fearless.
Jake's kind soul, humor, and spirit of generosity will be deeply missed by so many.
A celebration of his life will be planned for a later date.
