Jancy A. Morgan

Jancy A. Morgan, 68, of Berryton, passed away on Monday, September 1, 2025 at a Topeka hospital. She was born September 22, 1956 in Topeka, the daughter of William I. and Geneva A. (Frakes) Armstrong.

Jancy attended Topeka High School. She was employed by Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 20 years. She loved horses, was an artist and wrote and illustrated “If This Old Tree Could Talk To Me".

Jancy married Michael Morgan in 1973. He preceded her in death in 1996. She later married Tom A. Dunn on August 22, 2001 in Topeka. He preceded her in death on May 5, 2022.

Survivors include one son, Jason T. Morgan of Olathe, Kansas, her mother, Geneva Armstrong of Berryton, her sister, Jennifer Ann Morgan of Berryton, her aunt, Myrna Rise of Auburn, her cousins, Alan Rise and Gary Rise and numerous additional cousins. Also surviving is her close friend, Kimberly Gonzalez.

Private family graveside services and burial will take place in Pleasant Hill Cemetery southeast of Topeka.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 S.W. 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with arrangements.
