Jane Lola Kreitzer, born on August 25, 1950, passed away peacefully on June 21, 2025, in Topeka, Kansas. She was a remarkable woman known for her thoughtfulness, kindness, and selfless nature. She was loved by all who knew her.
Jane's journey began at a young age when she discovered her passion for cooking and baking. Her culinary talents were especially highlighted in her famous cinnamon rolls, which became a cherished delight for family and friends alike. Throughout her life, Jane embraced her love for caring for others through her cooking, leaving a lasting impression on everyone fortunate enough to share a meal with her.
Jane started her higher education at Pittsburg State and later attained a master’s degree in social work from Kansas University.
Jane's interests and hobbies encompassed a wide array of activities that reflected her creative spirit. In the early 90's Jane enjoyed backpacking and bicycling. She accomplished bicycling across Kansas She enjoyed crafting, basket weaving. later in life she joined Father Heart Ministries, where she imparted Christian teachings and shared her love for helping others, with New Zealand holding a special place in her heart as her favorite destination.
Family was everything to Jane. She cherished and celebrated every moment spent with her grandsons. She enjoyed the beauty of Pensacola Beach with family over the years.
She is survived by her daughters, Jodie (Schneider) Kreitzer and Sheri (Brockman) Kreitzer. Her grandsons: Kevin Drake Slibowski, Cole Alexander Brockman, Scoop Quinn Schneider, and Zoom Dash Schneider.
Jane will be remembered not only for her many accomplishments but also for the warmth and love she radiated throughout her life. Her legacy of kindness and her spirit will live on in the hearts of those she touched.
