Janet C. Graves

Janet C. Graves, 73, of Topeka, passed away on Wednesday, September 2, 2026. She was born January 20, 1953 in Topeka, the daughter of Kennedy L. and Kathleen L. (Macklin) Graves.

Janet graduated from Highland Park High School. She was employed the Kansas Department of Transportation for many years before retiring.

Survivors include her brothers, Clifford L. Graves of Lenexa, Gary E. Graves of Holton, and her nieces, Sara (Wes) Koelling of Topeka, Amy (Ben) Faunce of Olathe, and nephews, Robert (Angie) Graves of Carl Junction, Missouri, and Tyler (Amanda) Graves of Lenexa and twelve great-nieces and nephews.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 11, 2026 at Mount Hope Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Midland Care, 200 SW Frazier Circle, Topeka, Kansas 66606 or to the Cat Association of Topeka, 1719 SW Gage Blvd., Topeka, Kansas 66604.

Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
