Jeannine (Sheilds) Neaderhiser-Lambert, 92, of Topeka, passed away Monday, March 30, 2026.
Jeannine was born November 7, 1933, in Idana, Kansas, the daughter of James and Rena (Lapolice) Shields. She graduated high school in Clay Center, Kansas, and later attended Washburn University.
Jeannine was employed by Duckwall Alco store in Abilene, Kansas, as an accountant. She moved to Topeka in 1974, and worked as an accountant for Fleming Foods, E-Z Shops, and EKAN Fire Equipment.
Jeannine was a member of the Most Pure Heart of Mary Catholic Church.
Jeannine married Joe Lambert on January 25, 2018 in Topeka. He survives of the home. Survivors include daughters Jana (John) Shepard; Roberta (Scott) Taylor; sister Patricia Shields; 6 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her son David Neaderhiser; brothers Danny Shields and Dennis Shields; sisters Carolyn Woellhof, and Joan Steward.
Jeannine enjoyed working in her flower beds. She loved all animals, especially her birds, dogs, cats, and even feeding her squirrel. Jeannine also loved dancing and listening to her music. Most of all, she loved her family.
Cremation is planned. Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
