Jerome "Jerry" Langham, 85, of Topeka, passed away on Tuesday, July 5, 2022. He was born June 17, 1937 in Robertsdale, Alabama, the son of Aubrey A. and Betty J. (Seay) Langham.
Jerry began his Air Force military career at the age of 17 where he served during the Vietnam War. During his service he earned his Bachelor of Arts and Master of Business Administration from Michigan State University. After he retired from his service to our Country, he was a Professor at Cal State San Bernardino. He then served as an Adjunct Professor at Baker University until his final retirement in 2018.
Jerry married Barb Dasinger on January 8, 1955 in Pascaquala, Mississippi. She preceded him in death on April 5, 2015. He later married Rosemary J. Beach on December 13, 2017 in Topeka. She survives. Other survivors include children, Deborah (Getty) Taye of Rochester, New York, daughter-in-law, Debby Langham of Minneapolis, Minnesota, step-daughters, Gale Wise (Rick) of Tecumseh, Jo Feldmann (Tom) of Basehor, Kansas, ten grandchildren, and twenty-two great-grandchildren.
Jerry was preceded in death by one son, Gary (Debby) Langham.
A Celebration of Jerry's Life will take place at 11:00 am, Friday, July 8, 2022 at Topeka Bible Church, 1101 SW Mulvane Street, Topeka, Kansas. A luncheon will be provided immediately following the service for friends and family.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to Children's Mercy Hospital Resource Development Department, 2401 Gillham, Kansas City, Missouri 64108 or to the Topeka Bible Church, 1101 SW Mulvane Street, Topeka, Kansas, 66604.
