Joan A. Dreier

Joan A. Dreier, 86, of Topeka, passed away Friday, July 17, 2026.

She was born October 10, 1939, in Kansas City, Missouri, the daughter of Minford Llewellyn and Louise Mildred (Hall) Lovett.

Joan married Ramon "Ray" Dreier on April 9, 1971, in Miami, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on March 19, 2017. Survivors include her daughter, Linda Louise (Rick) Brown, Scottsbluff, NE; two grandchildren, Meghan Louise Rowland and Cameron Devonshire Brown; and two great-grandchildren, Willow Louise and Penelope Gracie.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and three siblings.

Joan enjoyed traveling with Ray and Linda to almost all 50 states and their favorite trip was to Alaska. She enjoyed Sunday afternoon drives, taking the back roads. She and Ray were also snow birds, spending winters in Texas.

Honoring her request, cremation is planned. No services are planned.

Dove Cremations & Funerals, Southeast Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.

Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor’s choice for the flood victims in Texas.
