John Harry Grub

John Harry Grub passed away peacefully on Friday, October 24, 2025 at the age of 66.

He was born March 29, 1959 in Ontario, Canada, the son of Harry and Lore Grub.

John was a jack of many trades. He was a wonderous worker with his hands and made many creative plaques, leather goods, signs, and even a few urns, his own included. He used this talent in his work life as well, working many years in construction and cabinet making. He also knew his way around the kitchen and made the best cheesecakes.

John will be deeply missed and lovingly remembered by his brother, Rolfe (wife Sheena); sisters, Carmen (husband Hans), Helga (husband Gary), and Annette; nephews, Richard (wife Marta), Jeremy (wife Jennifer), and Chris; nieces, Jasmine (husband Chris), Suzanne, and Kristina; and all great nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in passing by his parents, Harry and Lore Grub; younger brother, Timothy “Tim”; nephew, Gavin; and his long-time pets, Izzy, Buddy, Sam, Emmy and Max.

Cremation has taken place. No services are planned.
