Joseph E. Bame, Sr., 81, of Topeka, passed away on Thursday, December 25, 2008 at his home. He was born on January 9, 1927 in Overbrook, KS the son of Oren and Eva (Andrews) Bame.
He was married to Betty Grey. She preceded him in death. Survivors include his children, Debra Isley, Steven Bame, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren.
Mr. Bame will lie instate after 2:00 p.m. Tuesday and the family will greet friends from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at the Penwell-Gabel Southeast Chapel. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will follow at the Penwell-GabelCemetery.
