Judith Rucelle Hulser, 85, of Topeka, passed away peacefully Saturday, August 9, 2025.
She was born September 28, 1939, in Wichita, Kansas, the daughter of Russell and Maxine (Simonsen) Mauck. She graduated from Derby High School in 1957. She attended York Christian College.
Judy was employed with the Topeka Public School District 501 for 35 years as an Administrative Assistant until retiring in 2001.
Mrs. Hulser was a Sunday School Teacher for many years and a member of the New Beginning Choir at the Southwest Christian Church and the Central Church of Christ both of Topeka. She was also a past officer of Topeka Artists Association.
Judy married Roger N. Wilson. They later divorced. He preceded her in death in April 2007. She was also preceded in death by her parents, son, Roger N. Wilson; and brothers, Jan Mauck and Russell Mauck II.
Survivors include daughters, Kristian Wilson, Robyn (Bob) Pugh and Shannon (Kevin) Wagner; grandchildren, Brandi Stewart, Sara Stewart, Jackson Pugh and Coleton Pugh; great grandchildren, Aria Moten, Mila Moten and Aydn Moten; and sister, Celia (Henk) Rog.
Judy loved square dancing and painting. She always enjoyed singing with her group for the local nursing homes. She lived her life bedazzled!
Judy’s wishes were for cremation. A memorial ceremony will be held at 10:30 a.m., Thursday, August 14, 2025 at Southwest Christian Church, 5747 SW Huntoon St, Topeka, KS 66604.
