Katherine "Kathy" Louise Breitenstein

Katherine Louise “Kathy” Breitenstein (née Sinclair), passed away peacefully on September 16 2025, in Topeka, Kansas, at the age of 80.

Kathy is lovingly remembered by her husband, Gene Breitenstein. She is survived by her daughters Brenda McDonnell and Jill Rhodes; sons-in-law Jim McDonnell and Brian Rhodes; daughter-in-law Mary Breitenstein; and her cherished granddaughters: Jessie Rhodes, and Anna, Ava, Ella, and Emma Breitenstein.

She is also remembered by her siblings Nancy Russell, Carol Sinclair, Ned Sinclair, and Meggie Sussman. Kathy was preceded in death by her son, Brian Breitenstein. Per Kathy’s wishes, there will be no service.
