Kathy Lee Hershey, 69, was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on June 15, 2025.
Kathy was born on July 14, 1955, in Topeka, KS, the daughter of Clarence Edward Hershey, Jr., and the late Jeanne (Lee) Hershey.
She graduated from Topeka High School in 1973 among the top of her class. She attended Kansas State University and went on to work as an analyst for Panhandle Eastern Pipe Line Company and then in various capacities for American Century and Morgan Stanley Financial Services.
Kathy survived an aggressive form of cancer and battled ongoing health issues with determination and discipline.
Kathy loved her family and friends dearly. She is survived by her father, Ed Hershey; her sisters, Julie Hershey Downes (David) and Michelle Brown (Keith); her brother, Mitchell Hershey (Sharon); and her beloved aunt, Susan Osgood (Jerry); and many dear cousins and relatives. She enjoyed spending time with her nephew and niece, Hunter and Hailey Hershey, especially during their childhood where she planned many memorable trips to places such as Alaska and Florida as well as fun sleepovers at her house. She was also an avid Kansas State University fan.
