Kelsey Rae (Kivitter) Koehn, 32, of Topeka, passed away Friday, February 17, 2023.
She was born July 28, 1990, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Troy Darin and Shelly Lynn (Rush) Kivitter. She attended Santa Fe Trail High School and received an associate's degree from Allen County Community College.
Kelsey was employed by the Stormont-Vail Hospital in Topeka.
Survivors include her son, Cameron Michael Holdren of Topeka; her parents, Troy and Shelly Kivitter of Carbondale, KS; paternal grandmother, Viola Lee of Scranton, KS; maternal grandparents, Ron and Nancy Rush of Tecumseh, KS; several aunts, uncles and cousins; and her best friends, Amanda Piper-Schwindt and Justin and Jami Crispin and their children, Kylie, David and Blake.
She was preceded in death by paternal grandfather, Richard Kivitter.
Kelsey was a loving mother, daughter, granddaughter and friend. Her time was dedicated to Cameron and she especially loved attending his sporting events. She was a Grey's Anatomy enthusiast, loved spending time with family and reading.
Cremation is planned. The family will have a private gathering to celebrate her life, and hope that her friends will celebrate her in their own way too. Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel in Topeka is assisting the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to Shelly Kivitter for Cameron Holdren's education sent in care of Envista Credit Union in Topeka.
