Kenneth(Kenny) Dale Rinehart, born on October 2, 1961, in Topeka, Kansas. He passed away peacefully in Topeka on September 8, 2025, at the age of 63. Kenny's life was marked by his unwavering dedication to his family.
Kenny attended the Kaw Area Vocational Technical School while in high school, where he focused on welding and fabrication, skills he would carry throughout his life. He graduated from Highland Park High School in Topeka in 1979 and began a lifelong journey of metal and woodworking. He became known for his exceptional abilities in welding.
One of Kenny's proudest accomplishments was building a home for his family in Perry, Kansas, from start to finish. His career was diverse, encompassing roles from fabrication to entrepreneurship, and in later years, he did contract work for Innovia Films. However, it was not just his career that defined him; it was his love for the great outdoors and the activities he cherished most with his family.
Kenny was an avid lover of camping, often enjoying trips with family where they enjoyed fishing, four-wheeling, and simply being in the company of loved ones around campfires. Memories were made through frog hunting, fishing on the river, and attending NHRA races with his children when they were young. His passion for the outdoors extended to riding mini bikes and racing three-wheelers during his youth.
Known for being hardworking, tough, loyal, and trustworthy, Kenny was always willing to lend a hand to those in need. His motto, "rub dirt on it," reflects his resilient spirit and attitude toward life’s challenges. Children: Aaron (Kirsten) Rinehart, Ryan (Christie) Rinehart, and Rachael (Nathan) Darrah. He was a proud grandfather to: Jack, Ivy, Will, Korbyn, Eli, Jaxon, Alyse, Colton, and Langston.
Kenny is survived by his beloved mother, Rosabelle Dew; his siblings, Kim (Roger) Brokmann and John (John) Rinehart; and his children and grandchildren, who he adored deeply. He was preceded in death by his father, Harold Rinehart.
In celebrating the life of Kenneth Dale Rinehart, we remember a dedicated family man whose passions and character will resonate within the hearts of his loved ones for years to come. His legacy is one of devotion, resilience, and love—qualities that will continue to inspire those who were fortunate enough to know him.
