Kimberly Kay (Krainbill) Acker, 66, of Topeka, passed away peacefully Saturday, September 20, 2025.
She was born February 18, 1959, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Glenn and Barbara (McDaniel) Krainbill. She graduated from Topeka High School in 1977.
Kim was an avid artist, having several drawings published in the Topeka area.
Mrs. Acker was a member of the 2100 Club, of Topeka.
Survivors include daughter, Michelle Acker (Kevin Chandler); and sons, Randell (Roxy) Acker and Daniel "Keith" (Misty) White; grandchildren, Jessa Marsh, Jaden Marsh, Laila Torrez, Emma Torrez, Jessica White, Randell Acker Jr., Lucas Acker, and Nicole Acker; 1 great grandchild expected October 21, 2025; and siblings, David Krainbill, Eric Krainbill, and Lisa (John) Langer. She was preceded in death by her parents, and son, Jason Acker.
Kim loved her family and always enjoyed her time with her grandchildren. Her true passion was drawing. Her family has fond memories of painting Easter eggs together. In her relaxing time you could usually find her watching movies.
Kim’s wishes were for cremation. Per her wishes, there are no services planned.
