Kimberly A. Raine, 58, of Topeka, passed away Sunday, March 3, 2024 after a short illness, surrounded by her loving family. In her passing, Kim donated her corneas to save the sight of 2 different individuals.

She was born August 10, 1965, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of Jim and Karyl Lee (Rethman) Schiffelbein. She graduated from Shawnee Heights High School.

Kimberly worked as a Paralegal for School District 501 and Royal Valley Middle School for many years.

Ms. Raine was a member of Most Pure Heart, of Topeka.

Kimberly married Scott Raine on August 3, 1996. They later divorced.

Survivors include son, Cody Raine (Autumn), uncle, Charlie Schiffelbein (Bobbie), aunt, Betty (Rethman) Blankenship-Smarker, and her beloved dog, Mimi.

She was preceded in death by her parents, sister, Kristee Schiffelbein, aunt, Pat Buser, grandparents, Tony & Emma Rethman, and John & Barbara Schiffelbein, and numerous other aunts and uncles.

Kimberly loved her family and always looked forward to family events and the Schiffelbein Annual Fish Fry. She was talented with her diamond art work pieces. She enjoyed watching the birds in the front yard with her dog. She loved shopping with her cousin, Stacy.

Honoring Kimberly's wishes, she will be cremated and laid to rest with her parents. A Graveside Ceremony will be held at 1:00 p.m., Monday March 18, 2024 at Mount Calvary Cemetery in Topeka.
