Larry Hein, born on March 29, 1946, in Topeka, Kansas, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2025 at home. He dedicated over 50 years of his career to the Men's clothing business, with the last 15 years spent at Borck Brothers Men's Clothing and Formal Wear. Larry took great pride in his work and found joy in serving others. Through out his life his faith in Jesus Christ was unwavering.

He was a member of the first graduating class of Topeka West High School in 1964 where his father served as the Music Director. He also attended Gage School and Boswell Junior High in Topeka KS. Larry graduated from Washburn University with a degree in Business and a member of Phi Delta Theta (ΦΔΘ) Fraternity.

Larry loved sports. He was known as an accomplished fast pitch softball player. He cherished the times with his family watching the Chiefs and Jayhawks. As a father and a coach, he was deeply supportive of his children's hobbies and sports.

Larry was a beloved husband, father, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend. He is survived by his wife, Kathleen Hein, with whom he shared 46 years of marriage; his daughter, Lacy Hein; sons Reed (Shelly) Hein and Matt (Jessica) Hein; and his grandson, Hudson Hein. He also leaves behind many loved family members.

Larry was preceded in death by his parents, Allan and Evelyn Hein, and his brother, Ron Hein. Above all, he cherished his family, and his legacy will live on through them. The joy and support he brought others will be deeply missed by all who knew him.
