Lauren A Ramirez

Lauren Ramirez, 36, of Topeka, returned to the stars Monday, November 2, 2026. 

She was born September 10, 1990, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of David Milton and Lisa (Soriano) Eubanks. She attended college, prior to her illness at Concord Community College.

 Lauren shared her life with her fiance Corey Sutherland. Other survivors include her parents, David and Lisa Eubanks; her two sons, Marcelino and Camilo Ramirez. 

She was preceded in death by her Paternal and Maternal grandparents. 

Lauren was a charmer. Animals and people just gravitated to her. This super power allowed her to be successful as a Medical Assistant. Every patient she cared for knew they had been heard. She wanted to be a veterinarian as a child and tried to save every injured animal she found. She loved being outside. Going for walks with her grandfather led to hikes, kayaking and camping. Lauren was asked to apply to walk the runway for Couture for Cancer 2026. Out of hundreds of submissions, she was selected. Lauren was a dedicated Mother. She stepped away from a job where she traveled the country to stay home with her boys. She chose to make more memories over more money. 

Cremation is planned, with a private Celebration of Life at a later date. Memorial contributions in Lauren's memory can be made to the American Cancer Society
