Lenny Shawn Osborne, 62, of Topeka, Kansas, passed away peacefully on Sunday, May 31, 2026.

He was born on November 30, 1963, in Amarillo, Texas, to Leonard and Glenda (Elliott) Osborne. Lenny graduated from Monte Vista High School in Monte Vista, Colorado, with the Class of 1982.

Lenny worked in the Logistics Department at Target in Topeka, where he was known for his strong work ethic and quiet perseverance.

He is survived by his loving mother, Glenda Osborne; his brother, Lanny Osborne; his nieces, Mirida (Osborne) Melton and Brittany Osborne; his nephew, Damon Osborne; and his beloved great-nephew Gavin and great-niece Karma.

He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard Osborne; his sister, Kim Osborne; and his grandparents, Glen and Pauline Elliott, and Elmer and Rosalia Osborne.

Lenny had a lifelong love of sports, especially football and baseball. During football season, he could always be found cheering on his beloved Dallas Cowboys. As a young man, he played baseball in the Ken Berry League, where his talent and passion for the game stood out early on. One of his proudest memories came in high school, when he hit a home run that helped carry the Monte Vista Pirates to the state playoffs.

Lenny will be remembered for his love of family, his loyalty, and the memories he created with those who knew him. He will be deeply missed.

Cremation is planned, and memorial services will be held at a later date.
