Leona Grace Bradford, 89, of Tecumseh, passed away on Tuesday, December 6, 2022 at a Topeka hospital. She was born September 19, 1933 in Elmo, Kansas, the daughter of John and Lena (Doyle) Fager.
Leona babysat for hundreds of children. She also was employed by St. Francis Hospital.
Leona married Noble Q. Bradford, Sr. on October 4, 1952 in Eureka Springs, Arkansas. He preceded her in death on February 7, 1999.
Survivors include children; N.Q."Buck" Bradford, Randy W. Bradford, Pamela D. Burky, Delores M. Hudson, Richard H. Bradford, four grandchildren, Kevin Flynn, Rodney Flynn, Eric Winters and Dustin Slizewski and several step-grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday, December 12, 2022 at Topeka Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be given to the Helping Hands Humane Society, 5720 SW 21st St., Topeka, Kansas 66604.
Dove Southeast Chapel, 2843 SE Minnesota Ave. is assisting the family with service arrangements.
