Levi Charles DeHart, 19, of McPherson, Kansas, formerly of Carbondale, passed away Saturday, February 14, 2026.
He was born January 9, 2007, in Newport, Arkansas, the son of Louis Charles DeHart and Aris Lynn Hicks. He was a graduate of Santa Fe Trail High School in Overbrook, Kansas.
Levi was employed by Creative Dining Services at the Central Christian college in McPherson KS.
He was a member of The Omega Project and Revolution Church in McPherson Ks.
Survivors include His Dada, Louis DeHart of Carbondale, KS; His Mama Aris Hicks of McPherson, KS; His Mom Kim DeHart of Carbondale, KS; His Brothers Oliver DeHart and Joshua DeHart; and His sisters Brittany DeHart, Chelsea DeHart; Nana Rhonda Jones; His sister, Hanna (Larry) Rojo of Salina, KS; Uncles Carl DeHart, Jodi DeHart, and Basile Risher; His Aunts, Anna Martin, Aubrie Angel, Ashlei Angel and Rebecca Chamberlain.
He was preceded in death by all of his grandparents. Additional family members include his uncles, Kevin (Angel) Miner, Ken (Maggie) Miner and Keith (Amy Miner and many nephews and nieces who loved him very much.
He was preceded in death by his cousin James Galloway.
Levi loved His family and friends. He loved music and art. He loved God and learning. Levi loved Helping people and making peoples days better. Levi was Love in human form, a beautiful combination Light and love, goofy and serious, hard work and fun, wisdom and innocence, protective and nurturing. He saw the good in others and was always routing for them to win. Mr. Never wrong, LOL.
Levi was a son, brother, uncle, cousin, grandson and best friend. He was kind-hearted, loving, caring, intelligent, hardworking, artistic and loved to shop! Some of his favorite things to shop for was Hello Kitty, Candy, Shoes and Clothes. He also liked flea markets and thrift stores.
He will be missed by everyone, loved by so many. His light and love carry on in us all.
Cremation is planned. A memorial ceremony will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 28, 2026, at Dove Cremations and Funerals, Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS.
