Louise Hudson

Louise Hudson, 86, of Topeka, passed away Thursday, July 17, 2025.

She was born October 27, 1938, in Anderson, Indiana, the daughter of John and Catherine (Werking) Humerickhouse. She graduated from Anderson High School in 1956.

Louise was employed by JC Penny as the shoe department manager for many years, until retiring.

Mrs. Hudson was a member of the American Legion Post 1, of Topeka.

Louise married Roland E. Hudson on May 18, 1957 in Anderson, IN. He preceded in death on January 9, 2005. She was also preceded in death by her parents, and her eight siblings.

Survivors include sons, Scott L. Hudson, Jeffrey L. Hudson (Peggy), and Steven L. Hudson (Patti); grandchildren, Lindsey Piper Hudson (Gabe) & Tanner Z Hudson, and Tasha L. Hudson; great grandchildren, Jack P. Hudson, Lucia Hudson, and Emory P. Rush.

Louise loved her family and enjoyed a good T.V. show.

Louise's wishes were to be cremated. No public services are planned.
