Louise Ann Tindell

Louise Ann Tindell, 90, of Auburn, passed away on Saturday, December 13, 2025 at McCrite Plaza in Topeka. She was born July 7, 1935 in Wakarusa, Kansas, the daughter of Richard Clark and Nina Bell (Tucker) Harris.

Louise graduated from Auburn High School. She was employed by Fleming General Merchandise in Topeka for 27 years before retiring.

Louise married James W. "Bill" Tindell on June 10th in 1972. He preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by two daughters, Deborah Ann Newman, Brenda Kay Newman, her sister, Doris Braunbeck, and her granddaughter, Kathryn Louise Paine.

Survivors include one daughter, Carla Sue Newman of Auburn, step-son, Mike Tindell of Auburn, step-daughters, Candace Herman of Overland Park, Catherine Rinehart of Topeka, 10 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren, and her siblings, Alice Schick of Florida and John Harris of Washington and, honorary daughter and best friend, Sandra Myers of Topeka.

Services will begin with a Gathering held 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, December 23, 2025 at the Dove Southwest Chapel, 3700 SW Wanamaker Rd. A Celebration of Louise's Life will follow beginning at 11:00 a.m. Inurnment will take place in Scranton Cemetery.
