Lucile M. Munk

Lucile M. Munk, 95, of Topeka, passed away Tuesday, July 30, 2024.

She was born March 16, 1929, in Topeka, Kansas, the daughter of John H. and Josephine E. (Gehrt) Senne. She was a graduate of Topeka High School.

She was a member of Prince of Peace Lutheran Church in Topeka.

Lucile married Thomas Paul Munk on March 15, 1952 at St. John’s Lutheran Church, Topeka. He preceded her in death on September 18, 2016. Survivors include daughters, Tracy Munk, Pearland, TX, Susan (Steve) Reese, Topeka; son, Scott (Sheila) Munk, Shawnee; grandchildren, Laura (Jack) Rickabaugh, Ryan Munk and Jared Munk; and her great-grandson, Cameron Rickabaugh.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Lola Jean Morrison and her brother, Harold Senne.

Lucile loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She enjoyed attending many ball games, crocheting, knitting, golfing, bowling, card games with family (Schafkopf) and going to the casino.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Monday, August 5, 2024, at Prince of Peace Lutheran Church, 3625 SW Wanamaker Rd, Topeka, KS 66614. Burial will follow at Memorial Park Cemetery, Topeka. The family will receive friends at the church one hour prior to the service.
